Memorial Day weekend sale at Cool Cottons May 24, 2007
I got an e-mail this week that Cool Cottons is having a big sale all weekend — buy two yards of over 50 of their fabrics and get a third yard (priced the same or less) free! The sale includes prints from Free Spirit, Kaffe Fassett, and Hoffmann. Three yards is the perfect amount for sewing a dress… hmm. I think I’ll be walking over tomorrow! The other cool thing is that the entire reason they’re having the sale is to make room for all their fresh new summer stuff, which I can’t wait to see.
The sale runs from Friday the 25th through Monday the 28th, so mark your calendars — and don’t forget to stop by the craft supply swap and our shrine-making workshop on Sunday, too!
If you go:

p.s. I decided to hold off on writing up Maker Faire for just a couple more days, since Natalie generously offered to send me a DVD of all her pictures from the weekend to add to mine. I’ll let you know here when it’s up!
Speaking of Maker Faire, I am trying my best to swing going to Austin for the next one — October 20 and 21. I have never been to Texas at all, and it would be so awesome to hang out with Jennifer, Jenny, Julie, and all the Lone Star crafters. Anyone else planning on it?
