Heather Mann, who edits CROQ, and Lee Meredith, who writes and publishes do stuff!, are two of the most prolific crafter-writers I know — they both work on all kinds of cool projects, not least of which are their jam-packed crafty zines. If you haven’t had the pleasure of checking their publications out, do stuff! and CROQ are both available online as well as in stores.
And if you’re in Portland, both of them will be reading from their work at the library tomorrow night as part of the Zinesters Talking series! Just stop by the Hollywood Library at 6:30 to see the presentation. I’m so looking forward to it. I really love the Multnomah County Library — they host all kinds of cool events and this one is a standout.

In other Portland news, it’s official: sweet potato fries and pumpkin milkshakes are in season and on the menu at Burgerville. I had both of them for dinner tonight, and they were awesome.
