Craft Inc. party + Felt Club = super fun weekend November 14, 2007
I’m going to LA tomorrow for the first time since we moved back in April — I am so excited! I’ll be staying with Alexis, and we’ll be going to fun crafty events all weekend.
First up, just an hour or so after I get off the plane, is the sure-to-be-lovely Craft Inc. party at ReForm School tomorrow night! I can’t wait. Just look at all the cool prizes and fun things going on…
I’ll be working on Friday, and then on Saturday we’re going to MOCA, having lunch at Clifton’s, and stopping by Berger Beads and Michael Levine. I have missed downtown LA so much. Living a subway ride away from bead and fabric shopping like that was incredible.
And on Sunday from 1-2, I’ll be teaching a Bead Simple jewelry workshop at Felt Club. I’m really looking forward to it!
I’ll be showing everyone how to make the necklace on the cover of the book along with a pair of drop earrings, if you want to try your hand at some fun wirework.
Please come by if you’re at the sale — there are tons of great craft classes all afternoon to check out, plus amazing handmade stuff to buy (look at this vendor list!!), cupcakes, music, door prizes, and fabulous goodie bags for the first 250 shoppers. You can pick up a $2.50 wristband in advance at ReForm School , too.
Hope to see you this weekend!
